I bought this phone  for my husband because I was trying to get him off the AT&T rental service. He has been renting his phone from AT&T that looks much like this one (see the photo) for gazillion years. 

We already paid a gazillion dollars to AT&T. In fact, AT&T got so rich, they went out and bought BellSouth and who knows what else.

Now, long story short, my husband, Thank You Jesus, is now off the AT&T rental. But with a different land-line phone.   

Myself, I can't use a land-liner, not with with my busy schedule. I use my battered cellphone.

But my husband would never use a cell. He values the quality of the traditional land-line call. Of course, he doesn't run around like me. Actually he stays near his land-line phone so he can answer when someone calls.

So, back to this phone (see photo, a real asset, no?)

I know you wish this auction was for an iPhone. I  wish that too. At least I wouldn't have to explain how I ended up with THIS  phone.

The truth is I can't stand when something is purchased and not used. I am from Russia. I remember back in Russia when my parents wanted a home-phone, they signed up for it and waited for it for.... thirteen years.

Can you imagine?  I went to kindergarten, then to middle school and almost finished high school. Then they got the phone. The timing was perfect, I now had the home phone number to give to potential  boyfriends.

Seriously, imagine you would have to wait for something for thirteen years? It's like waiting for an eBay auction to end and finally you are the winning bidder. Tah-Dah!

If you always wanted a phone with a good story this is the one.  It comes from a atypical household of one Russian wife and one American husband, married for over 15 years, no kids or pets. 

And rest assured you will never be alone when all land line phones are gone and even all cellphones are gone. I presume, it will be the time when Google will set us up with a Brain to Brain direct BrainSearch (BS) and Instant TelepaticMessaging (ITM).
