Art on paper. Feminine Forms. Collages. Pop Art. Sculpting with Scissors by Irina Patterson

Some of my recent art on paper.  These feminine forms were cut out of magazine pages straight with scissors and mounted on paper.

No sketching was done prior I began to cut. I strive each cut to be a one piece cut, but sometimes I add a couple of additional elements to a mostly finished one piece cut.

It is quite fascinating. It is somewhat similar to sculpting, only sculpting with scissors.Come back for more of my sculpting with scissors later.

This party, at the Museum of Science, Miami, Florida, was a blast. Lizards represented the science part, obviously.

I was twisting balloon art non-stop and was able to snap only a few photos with my Nokia N80 cellphone.

I love unique design formal gowns. Couture gowns, beautiful dresses will always give me a thrill.  Here is a photo of me wearing one of my latest findings. Yes, I am standing on my desk. Why?
