I say, use the Internet for your job search, but not the online job sites. There is a better way.
Use social media sites, such as LinkedIn and Twitter to find the key executives at the companies you want to work at and build relationships with them. If you show the you are good at what you do, a job will be created for you.
Also, share your skills often and generously while you are looking for a job and even after you found one.
Personally, I can't think of a better way for unemployed but ambitious people to look for a job, is to join 1M1M and here is why.
Why 1M1M is a good fit for job seekers:1. Sharpen your skills by immersion into global 1M1M community of high-achievers.
2. Get exposure to innovative business strategies.
3. Learn critical management skills as you lead and educate.
4. Make connections and build global relationships with possible employers.
5. Build your credibility in your local or any global community you want to work in.
So, to summarize:
Forget broadcasting your resumes, that time is gone. Use the Internet for relationship building. Find a community where you can showcase your skills and go for it by contributing actual work not just talk.
